Another lying cop convicted of sexual assault set free by Caveman Canada’s misogynistic judicial industry. Michael LaCombe gets court’s compassion to “put his mind at ease” while “extremely seriously impacted” victim gets none. No wonder rapists keep raping – they’re granted licence to practice law, babied by judges, rarely punished.

Constable michael Lacombe convicted sexual predator once again as his employer @HamiltonPolice do not disclose his full name on the court docket. Why do members of community who are charged with sex assault get their names in full on dockets ? St Catharine’s court house will provide final verdict. Lacombe will receive his full pension reside in his 1.4 million dollar home mortgage free in mount hope and if his lawyer has his way will not be on the sex offender list.

Will local schools be safe?Of course not.

So a cop can sexually assault a female cop, and the judge goes out of his way to reassure him he won’t go to jail. Can you imagine anyone but a cop getting this?

I think it’s any man in Caveman Canada convicted of sexually assaulting and or raping a woman/women and or kids, especially those in positions of power like cops, military, CSIS, CSEC, judges, lawyers, politicians, priests and other rape religion higher ups. I experienced an AER upper management male sleazebag fucker rubbing his body up and down mine — without my consent — in a public meeting (I think to make me scream in a crowded public venue so that AER lawyers could get evidence after that fact to prove them judging me crazy, a terrorist, security risk, a public safety risk, a criminal, had merit).

I held my breath, tried not to vomit, let the PTSD do its thing (I panicked, dissociated, kept my cool outwardly while I screamed inwardly). I didn’t call police or AER, because I know of course I’d have been brutally punished by lawyers, judges, police, etc, for being a measly woman daring to file a complaint about criminal behaviour in a man in a position of power and I was already experiencing too much brutalizing and punishment by our “justice” industry.

Susan Clairmont | Former police officer guilty of sexual assault won’t go to jail

Michael LaCombe, who had been suspended with pay for two and a half years, ‘retired’ four days before his disciplinary hearing.

doug rich @sqareheaddoug:

Two things, now that La Combe has been convicted can the City recover wages paid to him while suspended. Second, what is the procedure for having a judge removed from the bench?Don’t hold your breath. Canada’s “justice” industry needs rapists/rape enablers on the bench, from coast to coast to coast, rapist and or rape-enabling women-hating politicians appoint like behaving/minded judges to the bench to keep the Patriarchy raping strong. And, much worse, judges in Canada are self regulated like the oil and gas industry is – we all know what a grand fail self regulation is.

2019: “It’s the judges!” enabling rape and murder of women. No kidding. In Canada too.

No jail time for Hamilton police officer who sexually assaulted woman he was mentoring, judge rules, Michael LaCombe resigned after being found guilty of 2 counts of sexual assault by Samantha Beattie, May 6, 2024, CBC News

WARNING: This article contains details of sexual assault and may affect those who have experienced it or know someone affected by it.

A former Hamilton police officer will not go to jail for sexually assaulting the woman he was mentoring as she pursued her own career in policing.

Michael LaCombe, 54, will instead serve 12 months of house arrest followed by 12 months of probation after Justice Cameron Watson found him guilty of two counts of sexual assault in January, following a trial.

Watson sentenced LaCombe on Monday at the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Catharines, Ont., describing his crimes and the aftermath as “a spectacular and cataclysmic fall from grace” in his written decision.

“His life has taken an irreparable downward spiral. He is no longer the man he once was,” Watson wrote.

Watson also described how LaCombe’s conduct “devastated” the victim, who has felt isolated and suffers from panic attacks, among other impacts, in recent years.

His decision was in line with what LaCombe’s defence had requested, while the Crown had pushed for two years in custody plus two years probation, arguing his crimes were “serious and significant.”

Watson did not read his decision aloud to the court, as is the common practice, and LaCombe appeared calm as he briefly stood before the justice.

Watson had also previously informed LaCombe he wouldn’t spend any time in jail at a sentencing hearing last month — before Watson had decided on the length of the sentence.

It was a “slightly unorthodox” move, Watson said at the April 22 hearing.

Justices generally wait until after the hearing to consider the arguments of both sides before making a decision on sentencing. But LaCombe’s “immense amount of emotional strain” compelled Watson to put the former cop’s mind at ease no jail time was necessary, he said.

“I understand and have no doubt this has destroyed his life and he’s suffering a form of exquisite agony and to keep the sword hanging over his head — not knowing what’s going to happen — in my opinion, as a fellow human being, is unnecessary,” Watson said.Just fucking disgusting, unjust, unfair shitting on the rule of law, judicial misogynistic bullshit. Another creepy Canadian “Judge” fails society, yet again. How many women has this judge assaulted, before and after being made judge?

Held ‘significant degree of power’ over victim: Crown

LaCombe and the victim had known each other for years leading up to the assaults in January 2010, said assistant Crown attorney Ian Bulmer, at the April sentencing hearing.

LaCombe was the victim’s instructor when she was a teenager in the Air Cadets, and then when she was an adult, her mentor. He promised to write her a reference letter for when she applied to the Hamilton Police Service — a job she “desperately wanted,” said Bulmer.

“That was a significant degree of power held over her” Bulmer said.

During the first incident, LaCombe drove her home in his police cruiser and in uniform, and then kissed her. The victim made up “excuses” to end the assault and got out of the car, said defence lawyer Dean Paquette, also at the sentencing hearing.

Later that month, LaCombe “contrived another opportunity to meet” and picked the victim up in his own car, without initially telling her where they were going, and brought her to a hotel, Paquette said.

In the room, he handed her a dress he bought from Value Village and she went into the washroom, but didn’t change into it, said the defence. When she emerged, LaCombe picked her up without her consent, pulled her on top of him, took her top and bra off and kissed her.

The victim then made it clear she wasn’t consenting and he stopped and drove her home, said Paquette.

He argued at sentencing that these assaults were LaCombe, who is married, attempting to have an affair. LaCombe should’ve been “more attuned to her feelings,” Paquette said.

LaCombe later wrote the victim a reference letter and she got a job in the service, but the assaults weighed on her for years until she reported it to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), Ontario’s police watchdog, Watson wrote in his decision.

Victim ‘devastated’ by assaults

LaCombe’s conduct “devastated” the victim, whose identity is protected under a public ban, wrote Watson. She’s also been unable to enjoy a normal life since reporting the crime to the SIU in 2021, and has been in hiding, Watson wrote.

She feels isolated at work as a police officer, suffers from panic attacks and has developed a “strong fear and distrust of men,” Watson wrote. But the “judge” lets the creep stay free to assault others, again and again.

The victim submitted a statement, but declined to read it in court and was not present for LaCombe’s sentencing.

LaCombe initially lied about the allegations to SIU investigators, and then pleaded not guilty, court heard at the hearing in April. The case went to a judge-only trial last year.

After Watson found him guilty, LaCombe resigned from the police service — before a disciplinary hearing was held — and he was discharged from the military, of which he’d been a member for decades.

LaCombe tearfully apologized to the victim at his sentencing hearing in April.

“I placed her in an unfair situation over 15 years ago and for that I’m truly sorry,” he said. “I should’ve known better and been a better person than that … The shame and guilt I feel for my actions will never subside.”He’s a proven liar. I don’t fucking believe a word he says; I believe he doesn’t give a shit, and will assault again, and again, and again. Thanks for nothing judge.

Watson determined LaCombe didn’t deserve incarceration for his crimes because he’s led a life of “exemplary service,” has no prior criminal record and is remorseful, according to his written decision.

“This offence involved his ham-fisted attempt to engage in an extra marital affair with a friend, albeit with an extremely serious impact on [the victim],” Watson wrote.

Of course judges let convicted rapists go free! The legal-judicial-political industry is a rape club.

The self regulator of lawyers even licences known convicted rapists of kids, giving them protected access to more kids to rape:

2019: Law Society of Ontario (LSO) a Pedophile Ring? Racism, misogyny *and* enabling sexual abuse of children? Ottawa lawyer, John David Coon, in custody for sex crimes against four-year old daughter of one of his clients. LSO documents reveal they gave Coon licence to practise law despite knowing of his prior criminal conviction for sexually assaulting another child. *And* LSO licenced Donald (“Donnie”) Davidovic knowing of his child porn conviction, deemed him to be of “good character” *and* let convicted pedophile senior lawyer Martin Schulz keep his licence to practice law! How grateful I am I have no children!

2023: Judicial flashback 2010: Harper gov’t appointed politically like-minded judges who donated cash. Jacob Ziegel: “It’s a system that lacks credibility, it’s tarnished and highly partisan and it should be a national embarrassment.” It is to me.

2023: Harper judge, Sheldon W. Lanchbery, orders injunction against grieving families who don’t want their loved ones left in a garbage dump, tells them he doesn’t come from white privilege because he grew up poor. FFS! What a cruel racist asshole.

2024: This. Is. Why. Judges. Lawyers. Enable. Rape. “Words expressing support for gender equality are cheaper than membership of the Garrick” Club. Roll-call of Britain’s man cave club, which bars women, includes judges, barristers and ministers Like I said, the judicial-legal-political industry is a rape club, serving themselves and the Patriarchy.

2024: Fucking furious at Canada’s pedophile-enabling lawyers, judges and media. Yet another judge lets rapist (Chase Noble) of a girl go free; The Sudbury Star headlines it “sex.” Evil Fuckers. Hell is too good for them. No wonder rapes of kids never stop.

2024: Copycat judicial industry serves the Patriarchy, not Canadians: Yet another judge enables breach of trust and assault of girl by RCMP officer. Judge Kelly Winchester kisses him with a few months of house arrest with freedom to work and run errands. Vulgarly unjust, as usual, while saying to the victim and her family: “I have no doubt that the impact of this case will take years to heal.”

etc. etc. etc.
