Lackawanna College gets $2.5 million by Power Source, April 12, 2014
Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation is giving $2.5 million to Lackawanna College, officials announced at a news conference at the Theater at Lackawanna College Friday. [Where’s the new drinking water contamination case?] The money will go directly to the School of Petroleum and Natural Gas in New Milford, established by the college in 2009 in response to the boom of the Marcellus Shale industry operation. The school’s curriculum is geared to meet industry needs, according to a news release. [Emphasis added]
