The Mysterious Phenomenon Called “Steve” Discovered by Alberta Aurora Chasers.

This is a fabulous fun documentary about a fabulous fun passionate group of Albertans taking stunning photos of aurora. There are some funny bits that made me laugh out loud.

The photos are masterpieces.

I love aurora, I’m fortunate to see them often from my fav chair inside, or out walking at night, except the new ever multiplying hideous massive industrial LED lights hurt the eyes and have wrecked the night sky where I live (stupid and abusive to humans and wildlife, especially to pollinators and migratory birds). The aurora most nights were even more fantastic where I worked up north at Chinchaga/Kahntah/Rainbow Lake etc.

Make sure to watch all the way to the end to meet Rexie.

Insanely beautiful photographs. Well done by everyone involved

@daviderwin1213:

I’m not sure what’s more amazing to me in this story.
The people or “Steve”.

@gordostan33:

I have been baffled for over 25 years what me and a buddy saw one night. Now I know. It looked like the Northern lights but was just a narrow band, flowing across the night sky like a river. We were mesmerized watching it.

@bayoulafourche:

My old frozen black heart just melted a little. This story made me cry

@JamesF.Pasquini:

“Glitter bomb” – The most colorful description of a solar discharge I’ve ever heard! Love it!

@sharonhall6518:

This just popped up on my YouTube and I was completely captivated! The pictures are awe-inspiring! My mouth was hanging open by the end! I love their dedication and the fact that they are sharing their experiences with everyone. Especially touched when reminded that we are all a part of the universe. So humbling

@Sharauni:

I know I’m a mess when a cute story about Steve makes me cry, at the end the tears were flowing. This was wonderful, a group coming together and just being so wholesome and discovering new things.

@hhairball9:

I’ve always wished, since I was a little kid, to someday see the Aurora with my own eyes before I die! I’m old now and I’m pretty sure it won’t happen, but it’s such a good feeling to go to their website and see what they can see! Thank you, everybody! (I have such a huge lump in my throat!)

@onenessishere:
