So, if I’ve done the maths right & BC holds, then nominally “progressive” parties are 3:0 in the most recent slate of provincial elections: MB, BC, and NB. That’s a notable trend, at least — and worth pondering.

Higgs was the first Premier to demonize trans youth. First he lost members of his cabinet over it. Then he lost the election. Is this a message for Moe and Smith? Probably not, but it is good news for sexual minorities in New Brunswick today.

Despite Poilievre’s endorsement Blaine Higgs delivers the NB PCs the worst defeat in a generation, and the Liberals the best result since Frank McKenna.
Seems the NB voter wasn’t into pronoun policies and making women’s health less accessible.
