The Illinois House just overwhelming voted to protect the Mahomet Aquifer–the primary source of drinking water for almost 1 million people in Central Illinois–from carbon sequestration.

(That’s my colleague Andrew who has worked his ass off over the past year to get this done.)

The bill already passed the Illinois Senate and now heads to @govpritzker.illinois.gov for his signature.
