Bonnie Critchley an Independent with only 3 months effort and five staff got 10% of the vote .. that’s an achievement
And she didn’t break the law or lie non stop, and remains sincere and trustworthy which Poilievre will never be.![]()

Ontario’s trash is apparently Alberta’s gold..
Jimmy Rocket:
The people of the riding missed a chance to send a message to the Conservative party that they can’t be neglected. These people act like they want to be neglected.
I think they do want to be neglected as that feeds into their whining, “the feds always beat Albertans up.”![]()

ron:
l dont blame idiots like PP. l blame the nominds that vote for him or in the US case the blonde blunder.
Hakuin:
Can’t blame a tick for sucking blood, the enablers however…
Graham:
Well, for all the hand wringing on both sides either about the long form ballot or whether pp could win because this riding wouldn’t appreciate a parachute candidate or that pp hasn’t seemed to have learned anything from his still fresh federal election loss it all turned out to be a very anticlimactic. He won easily and with almost no opposition. Critchley was the best of the rest with around 84 votes. The long form candidates mostly got zip with only the top 10 getting a vote. Big whoop.
I was really hoping this riding was going to send pp to the scrap heap and elect another, different, more viable conservative candidate but nope, just more of the same reform bunk and vile mouthed politics. Unfortunately pp will be back in the house to continue his run of doing NOTHING. Maybe his party will unhitch the wagon from his election losing leadership.
