Signing it would be committing one of the greatest acts of submission of this century. Regarding the more specific aspect of medicines, I regret that the rate did not simply remain at 0% as per the WTO agreement, which excludes medicines from import duties.

This decision to apply a 15% tariff is seen as a strategic compromise to avoid more restrictive measures initially considered by the United States, while maintaining a framework for transatlantic cooperation.

It is nonetheless one of the acts of Europe’s current submission, and that is serious. Europe must remain sovereign in its industrial and commercial choices, whether Trump or the pro-US like it or not.

In all honesty, I would not have negotiated in the same way. Just because Trump threatens us does not mean we must kneel. Trump plays the feudal lord with Europe, demanding his tithe under threat of reprisals; we must not give in, because if you accept this time, you will accept the next times; and yes, there will be next times, there is not a shadow of a doubt about that.

Other striking examples are the agricultural, military, and energy parts of this agreement: it is a surrender with respect to our principle of European strategic autonomy, to our environmental, social, and health standards.

A pure and simple surrender of our values. It is quite simply unacceptable.

The European Humiliation By Trump Is Ultimately Europe’s Fault, Long-Term and Short-Term Causes Email send out by Phillips P. OBrien, Jul 29, 2025

I’m going to start this post by describing two almost identical powers that existed one century apart. One of these powers had reached its relative position in 1900 and the other in 2000. These powers were both continent-spanning, with large populations, access to natural resources, excellent universities, and were scientifically and technologically advanced, They both had great deal of hope for their future developments and it was widely believed that they would both grow strongly in the coming decades.

In statistical and military terms they were also eerily similar. The 1900 power possessed around 18% of world GDP and the 2000 power either 20.2% (according to PPP) or 21.2% (at current prices). Moreover, one had the fourth largest population groupings in the world in 1900 and the other had the third largest global population.

The 1900 power actually had, relatively speaking, a less effective military, with one of the numerically smallest armies in the western world, certainly if measured by population, and either the 4th or 5th largest navy. The 2000 power would have had the second strongest military in the world in comparison—though with major weaknesses. Both of these militaries were technologically advanced for the time, with professional personnel well trained for their different eras, though with serious limitations on where and how they could deploy.

I’m sure many of you guessed right away who I am talking about—the 1900 power is the United States of America and the 2000 power is the European Union. Sometimes its forgotten how strong the European Union was seen to be in 2000, not just a secondary power to the USA, but potentially even a rival. Richard Haas, writing for the Brookings Institute, in late 1999 summarized the uneven state of the US-European relationship as:

Europe remains the greatest actual and potential partner of the United States as it seeks to shape the post-Cold War world. There is, for example, considerable agreement on humanitarian intervention, be it in the Balkans or beyond. But there are also significant differences, including over trade, American plans for missile defense, the sharing of the burdens of military commitments, and the U.S. tendency (at least until recently) to define difficult states as “rogues” and emphasize the application of economic sanctions. Europeans also resent American unilateralism and dominance, while American officials are often uncomfortable with the reality of a stronger and more independent Europe.

And here we are, 25 years later and the USA just deliberately and openly humiliated the EU by forcing it to accept unbalanced terms of trade.

The US-EU deal announced in Scotland yesterday by Trump and EU commission president von der Leyen is a humilation for Europe—as its really not a “deal” by any stretch of the imagination. Its a one-way acceptance of an inferior position by the Europeans, who are agreeing to give, give, give, and get nothing in return.

“Daddy” Enjoying Humiliating the Europeans Yesterday.

What did Europe give? Well they accepted a new, one-sided 15% tariff on many European goods shipped to the USA, with no reciprocal tariffs in return. This was how the White House crowed publicly about the one-sided nature of the deal.

As part of President Trump’s strategy to establish balanced trade, the European Union will pay the United States a tariff rate of 15%, including on autos and auto parts, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors. However, the sectoral tariffs on steel, aluminum, and copper will remain unchanged—the EU will continue to pay 50% and the parties will discuss securing supply chains for these products.

At the same time, the Europeans are committed to reducing tariffs on US goods, according to the White House.

The EU will remove significant tariffs, including the elimination of all EU tariffs on U.S. industrial goods exported to the EU, creating enormous opportunities for American-made and American-grown goods to compete and win in Europe.

The EU might have purchased that amount of energy regardless—but they are now committing to it.

Otherwise, the Europeans seem to have made concessions on digital regulation (their only ways to try and control US tech giants Facebook, Google, etc) while agreeing to purchase unspecified amounts of US military equipment.

You see what I mean by all one-way concessions? In the whole agreement, there seems to be nothing that the USA has given the Europeans. And rest assured, the US government having seen just how weak Europeans are—will be back with more demands in the future.

How Did We Get Here?

The question needs to be asked as to how the Europeans went from a position in 2000 when they had all the elements of a growing power to this present humiliation. Well there are long and short term contributing factors that have combined to put Europe such a situation that the USA could abuse its position to humiliate states that are ostensibly US allies. And the sad fact that must be faced by Europeans is that they were responsible for this—it was a political and social choice to become a US plaything.

Note—the discussion below is one that comes from core points in my latest book, the soon-to-be-released: War and Power: Who Wins Wars and Why, which I mentioned in Sunday’s Weekend update. There is a chapter on society and structure which forms the core of Europe’s long term problems, and one on constructing a military, which is the immediate cause of its humiliation.

The longer term were the structural and societal limitations that have always kept the EU from being a “power” in the manner that its economic/technological might could have supported. The EU could not, under its present structure, hope to translate the economic/technological might of the states in its polity (part of federal union, remember) into tangible force enough to stand up to the USA. It had such a weak structure, indeed, that it lost arguably its more powerful state, the UK, after Brexit.

Societally, Europeans actually came to believe the horseshit that soft-power would see them through the future and that wars were things that did not have to be prepared for. The decline in European military power since 1990 has been widely remarked upon. All European states except possibly Poland, Finland and a few other outliers, were happy to see defense spending plummet. By 2015 EU defense spending as a percentage of GDP was a laughable 1.3%.

Just as corrosively, Europeans stopped believing in the possibility of war or the value of collective defense. They became decidedly sceptical about the value of NATO—with many saying that even if a European NATO ally was attacked by Russia, they would not want to defend that ally.

Note—this is a year after the Russian invasion of Crimea and the Donbas.

At this point the US was more willing to fight for its European allies than were Europeans. It rather undermines the European screams now about the US abandoning them. When things seemed calm, Europeans were not particularly bothered about defending themselves.

And these societal and structural weaknesses combined to create the present strategic disaster which European states are facing. For all their moaning about the USA, European states really did not expect the USA to take advantage of their weakness. Even after the Russian full-scale invasion, even after it became clear that a loudly anti-European, anti-NATO Donald Trump stood a strong chance of returning to the White House in the 2024 election, European states and the EU did not prepare seriously for their own future. They did not start seriously discussing (let alone planning for) strategic autonomy) they did not start planning to support Ukraine on their own, they did little but hope and dream that the USA would remain loyal and true.I think a massive failure of humanity regarding PedoFührer Trump and his nasty greedy attacks on the world (serving Putin first, himself next -he’s reportedly using nearly 1B dollars belonging to Americans to upgrade the bribery gift from Quatar, then the billionaires) is that humans have been conned into believing humans are basically good, when we are anything but. Give us a tiny bit of power, and we will use it rape as we please. Refusing to see how evil the human species is, is our downfall, and us wiping us out, along with other species.

When the US went for Trump, therefore, and Trump proved to be exactly what he said he was going to be, European states were left with no alternative but accepting humiliation. European states now will do anything to try and maintain even a figment of an idea that NATO exists, that the USA will fight for it. When Trump came calling with his one-sided trade demands, the Europeans were left with no options but to sign on the dotted line and accept what Trump was offering. Daddy needed to be appeased.EU made an enormous mistake, and will not survive it.

Look, I think this is a disastrous move by Trump.Trump is also very stupid, much more stupid than most humans, he and his Nazis don’t see as they abuse others, they are abusing Americans moreHe has actually re-framed the western alliance from one that was win-win (and it was—though many people were too stupid to understand it) into a zero-sum game. He will also force the US population to pay more for his tariffs—this is not good news for the USA.

But ultimately the greater blame is on the Europeans themselves. Both societally and politically they pretended to be US-skeptical while making themselves completely US-dependent. They pretended that they could live in a world without real defense capabilities and arguably came to believe that they did even have to defend each other.

That failure cannot be undone for now—though we can hope that this humiliation will finally expose European states and the EU to the utter reality of their weakened state.

2025 07 26: Trump’s trade deals and tariffs are on the chopping block in court.

Statement by President von der Leyen on the deal on tariffs and trade with the United States by EU, July 26, 2025

We have reached a deal on tariffs and trade with the US.

Today’s deal creates certainty in uncertain times. What a fucking joke. There’s zero certainty! Trump shat on his deal with Canada during his first term, demanded a new one, which he also just shat on. Appeasing Nazis never works. They’ll just fuck you over, again and again, while mass murdering and raping kidsIt delivers stability and predictability, for citizens and businesses on both sides of the Atlantic. This is a deal between the two largest economies in the world. We trade USD 1.7 trillion per year. Together we are a market of 800 million people. And we are nearly 44% of global GDP. Just a few weeks after the NATO summit, this is the second building block, reaffirming the transatlantic partnership.

Allow me to go into some details. We have stabilised on a single 15% tariff rate for the vast majority of EU exports. This rate applies across most sectors, including cars, semiconductors and pharmaceuticals. This 15% is a clear ceiling. No stacking. All-inclusive. So it gives much-needed clarity for our citizens and businesses. This is absolutely crucial.

Today we have also agreed on zero-for-zero tariffs on a number of strategic products. This includes all aircraft and component parts, certain chemicals, certain generics, semiconductor equipment, certain agricultural products, natural resources and critical raw materials. And we will keep working to add more products to this list.

On steel and aluminium, the EU and the US face the common external challenge of global overcapacity. We will work together to ensure fair global competition. And to reduce barriers between us, tariffs will be cut. And a quota system will be put in place.

We will also increase our energy cooperation. Purchases of frac’dUS energy products willhasten our species’ destruction of earth’s livable climate and massively poison already much poisoned drinking water supplies in the USA diversify our sources of supply and contribute to Europe’s energy security.

Dr. Sandra Steingraber: “LNG is a climate disaster, a public health menace, and makes no economic sense.” Senator Ed Markey: “LNG exports are bad for communities’ health, climate, & energy prices—and could cost US households over $100/year.” Over 40 years ago, Vancouver Sun summed up the failure of LNG in a cartoon as assessed by Dome Petroleum.

US AI chips will help power our AI gigafactoriessuck the electricity from our grids in Europe and make Europe’s drinking water vanish faster than tech billionaires steal your personal private data and help the US to maintain their technological edge.

Today with this deal, we are creating more predictability for our businesses.Pffffft! How stupid can the EU get?In these turbulent times, this is necessary for our companies to be able to plan and invest.ah ha! so it’s just about making the rich richer, just like Carney betraying ordinary and poor Canadians. What evil douche fuckers We are ensuring immediate tariff relief.Until the lying nasty kid-raping bully reneges. This will have a clear impact on the bottom lines of our companies.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ And with this deal, we are securing access to our largest export market. At the same time, we will give better access for American products in our market. This will benefit European consumers and make our businesses more competitive. This deal provides a framework from which we will further reduce tariffs on more products, address non-tariff barriers, and cooperate on economic security. Because when the EU and US work together as partners, the benefits are tangible on both sides.Until the orange monster rapes you and your kids and their friends

At the same time, we are building a true foreign economic policy. And for this we have started at home. We are taking bold action to make Europe more competitive, more innovative and more dynamic. Our Single Market with its 450 million consumers is our greatest asset and our safe harbourWhat? Your communities are being decimated by global warming caused floods, fires, storms and temperature extremes and your people are dying by the thousands in heat domes that are only getting hotter and longer and more extreme, especially in turbulent times.

We are also creating new trade partnerships around the world – expanding from the 76 we have. We have concluded negotiations in the last months with Mercosur, Mexico and Indonesia. In an unsettled world, Europe is a reliable partner. And we will continue to deliver deals that help safeguard our prosperityfor the rich and only the rich, notably in Nazi USA.

Finally, I want to thank President Trump personally for his personal commitment and his leadership to achieve this breakthrough. He is a tough negotiator, but he is also a dealmaker.Excuse me while I go vomitI want to thank Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič and his team for their tireless work and skilful steer; they have done most of the heavy lifting. And I want to thank our Member States for their trust After the multiple gang rapes, trust will be gonzoand their commitment. Our unity is our strength, at home and abroad. We will continue to work hard for the benefit of all billionaires in the world who will become much richer with this “deal.” Europeans.

Thank you.

US-EU trade deal is a ‘dark day’ for Europe, says French PM, Trump tariff of 15% means European exporters will face more than triple the average 4.8% levy now in force by Lisa O’Carroll, 28 Jul 2025, The Guardian

The French prime minister, François Bayrou, said the EU has capitulated to Donald Trump’s threats of ever-increasing tariffs, as he labelled the framework deal struck in Scotland on Sunday as a “dark day” for the EU.

“It is a dark day when an alliance of free peoples, brought together to affirm their common values and to defend their common interests, resigns itself to submission,” Bayrou wrote on X on Monday.

Accord Van der Leyen-Trump : c’est un jour sombre que celui où une alliance de peuples libres, rassemblés pour affirmer leurs valeurs et défendre leurs intérêts, se résout à la soumission.— François Bayrou (@bayrou) July 28, 2025

The German chancellor, Friedrich Merz, and the Italian prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, welcomed the deal, which the European trade commissioner Maroš Šefčovič described on a Monday as a “breakthrough” in the face of a potential ruinous trade war between the world’s two biggest economies.

The deal, which will impose 15% tariffs on almost all European exports to the US including cars, about triple the 4.8% tariff now in force, but avoiding the threat of punitive 30% import duties being imposed on Trump’s 1 August deadline for a deal.

The high-level French criticism, and Emmanuel Macron’s silence since the deal was signed between Trump and the European Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, shows potential divisions as Brussels seeks to get approval for the deal from member states.

Merz hailed the deal, which was clinched in a ballroom at Trump’s golf resort in Scotland, saying it avoided “needless escalation in transatlantic trade relations” and averted a potentially damaging trade war.

Meloni welcomed the deal, saying it had avoided “potentially devastating” consequences.

Speaking at a summit in Ethiopia, she said a “trade escalation between Europe and the US would have had unpredictable and potentially devastating consequences”, while adding that Rome would have to “study the details” of the deal.

European stock markets hit a four-month high at the start of trading on Monday, amid relief that a deal had been reached. Germany’s Dax jumped by 0.86%, and France’s Cac 40 index rose by 1.1%, lifting the pan-European Stoxx 600 index to its highest level since late March.

However, France, considered the co-pilot of the EU project along with Germany, made its disapproval clear.

“This state of affairs is not satisfactory and cannot be sustained,” the French European affairs minister, Benjamin Haddad, said on X, urging the EU to activate its “anti-coercion instrument”, which would allow for non-tariff retaliation.

The French trade minister, Laurent Saint-Martin, criticised the EU’s handling of the negotiations, saying the bloc should not have refrained from hitting back in what he described as a power struggle initiated by Trump.

“Donald Trump only understands force,” he told France Inter radio. “It would have been better to respond by showing our capacity to retaliate earlier. And the deal could have probably looked different.”

Fresh details have emerged of the deal, with senior officials saying the 15% tariff on EU exports will apply to 70% of goods sold to the US.

Zero rates will apply to EU exports in important sectors including aircraft parts, some chemicals, semiconductor equipment and some agricultural products such as cork used in wine bottles and flooring.

The EU pharmaceutical sector will not face tariffs of more than 15% under the deal it struck with Trump, officials have said.

Senior EU officials revealed that pharma exports from the EU will remain duty free until such time as Trump completes his section 232 national security investigation into pharmaceuticals.

Even if he does decide to impose tariffs on pharmaceuticals in the future, EU officials extracted a commitment from Trump that they will be set at a top level of 15% when it comes to EU products.

He started his negotiations on Sunday by demanding the EU pay 30% tariffs on exports to the US, followed by 21% and finally settled on 15% in talks that were described as “very intense”, it has emerged.

The side deal will come as a big relief to Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Ireland, which have strong pharmaceutical sectors and were looking at potential tariffs of up to 200% next year, according to Trump.

More details of the deal emerged on Monday but tariffs on important sectors such as steel and wine and spirits will now be the subject of detailed negotiation.

Tariffs on steel will remain at 50% until a new deal, centred on quotas, is agreed, officials have said.

“The US are very much in need of our high-speciality steel,” Šefčovic said on Monday.

EU officials said agriculture barriers still firmly apply to US food imports, apart from a list of duty-free products that will be finalised in the coming days, and will include some products not produced in the EU such as nuts, some processed fish, dairy productsExcuse me? EU dairy is much healthier and less contaminaterd with hormones and artificial crap than USA’s. I avoid USA dairy like the plague! and pet food.

Wines and spirits are still on the negotiating table, and EU officials expect the list of products that will get a zero rate in the US will be extended in the coming weeks.

Technically the European Commission has the mandate to press ahead with the deal, but it has sought consensus backing from member states throughout the past four months and this is not expected to change.

It expects a “relatively light” joint statement to emerge before, or on Friday, followed by executive orders issued by Trump.

This will give legal status to the 15% tariff rates immediately in the US but the EU suite of tariff changes will not come into force until legal instruments have been signed, which may take longer than a week.

The German bank Berenberg said the deal brought to an end the “crippling uncertainty” but said it was a victory for Trump.

“It is great to have a deal. In two major respects, however, the outcome remains much worse than the situation before Trump started his new round of trade wars early this year,” said Holger Schmieding, Berenberg’s chief economist.

“The extra US tariffs will hurt both the US and the EU. For Europe, the damage is mostly front-loaded,” Schmieding said in a note to clients on Monday morning.

“The deal is asymmetric. The US gets away with a substantial increase in its tariffs on imports from the EU and has secured further EU concessions to boot. In his apparent zero-sum mentality, Trump can claim that as a ‘win’ for him,” Schmieding added.

The Italian bank UniCredit also said Trump had got the better out of the EU. “Is this a good deal for the EU? Probably not. The outcome is heavily asymmetrical, and it leaves US tariffs on imported EU goods at much higher levels than EU tariffs on imports from the US,” UniCredit said in a note to clients.

Trump raped E. Jean Carroll, and there’s no need for a 2nd jury to waste time on that, judge rules by By Jacob Shamsian, Business Insider, Sept 6, 2023

  • E. Jean Carroll’s second trial against Donald Trump, in January 2024, will only cover damages.
  • An earlier jury already settled that Trump raped Carroll, a judge ruled.
  • Carroll’s other pending lawsuit, over statements Trump made as president, was mired in courts.

A federal judge granted E. Jean Carroll a major victory in her remaining lawsuit against Donald Trump, concluding the former president raped her and a jury only needs to determine how much money he should pay her in damages.

US District Judge Lewis Kaplan wrote that the question of whether Trump raped Carroll was settled in a separate trial earlier this year. A jury needed only to weigh how much he damaged her when he called her a liar in 2019 when he falsely denied her accusations, Kaplan wrote in a summary judgement ruling.

Trump is scheduled to sit for the second trial in January 2024 in Manhattan federal court. Because it is a civil case, he won’t need to attend the trial in person, which will occur during the heat of the Republican presidential race, where he remains the frontrunner.

In May, a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll and awarded her $5 million in damages following a monthlong trial.

That trial was for Carroll’s second lawsuit against Trump. It was filed in late 2022, under a New York law passed in the wake of the #MeToo movement that allowed sexual assault accusers to bring legal claims that would otherwise be barred under the statute of limitations.

Carroll first sued Trump for defamation in 2019. That year, she publicly accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in a dressing room in the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan in the mid-1990s. Trump denied the claims, called her a liar and left-wing operative, and declared she was “not my type” — triggering the lawsuit.

That initial lawsuit had been mired in courts for years over legal questions of whether Trump made the statements in his capacity as US president, which would immunize him.

In July, the Justice Department said it had changed its position and concluded Trump’s statements were “related to a purely personal incident: an alleged sexual assault that occurred decades prior to Mr. Trump’s Presidency.”So if it comes out Trump raped kids with Jeffrey Epstein, he’ll not have legal immunity? Toss the fucker into prison pronto! The enabling dirt for judges on SCOTUS too and his entire abusive Nazi Regime!

Trump sought to have Carroll’s remaining lawsuit dismissed and countersued Carroll, saying that the jury found Trump sexually abused Carroll, but not that he raped her, as she originally claimed.

Kaplan, who is overseeing the two lawsuits, previously ruled that Carroll calling Trump a “rapist” made sense in the plain meaning of the word.

The jury used the New York state penal law standard to determine whether Trump “raped” or “sexually abused” Carroll.

The difference, Kaplan told jurors in the first trial, is that “rape” means “any penetration of the penis into the vaginal opening” while “sexual abuse” means “any touching of the sexual or other intimate parts of a person for the purpose of gratifying the sexual desire of either person.”

Trump is appealing the verdict in the earlier Carroll trial and has argued that a second trial would be unfairly duplicative.

Kaplan said that the second trial would be limited to statements Trump made about Carroll in 2019, not the statements he made in 2022 that were the subject of the first trial.

Justice Department tells Supreme Court not to toss the sex-trafficking conviction of Ghislaine Maxwell by Jacob Shamsian, Jul 14, 2025, Business Insider

  • The Justice Department responded to Ghislaine Maxwell’s Supreme Court appeal.
  • Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence for trafficking girls to Jeffrey Epstein for sex.
  • The DOJ said it won’t disclose documents about the investigation, reigniting interest in the case.

Justice Department lawyers urged the US Supreme Court not to toss the criminal conviction of Ghislaine Maxwell, the woman serving a 20-year prison sentence for trafficking girls to Jeffrey Epstein for sex.

In a brief filed Monday, Justice Department lawyers asked the court to reject arguments from Maxwell’s lawyers that she should have been shielded from prosecution in New York because of a deal struck years earlier between Epstein and a federal prosecutor in Florida.

“It would be extremely strange if the NPA left Epstein himself open to federal prosecution in another district — as eventually occurred,” Justice Department lawyers wrote in the brief, referring to Epstein’s non-prosecution agreement, “while protecting his coconspirators from prosecution anywhere.”

A jury in Manhattan federal court found Maxwell guilty in 2021 of trafficking girls to Epstein for sex and for sexually abusing some of them herself.

The prosecution of Maxwell and Epstein, who killed himself in jail before trial, has come under renewed scrutiny in recent weeks. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel have previously promised to make the “Epstein files” public, fulfilling one of President Donald Trump’s campaign promises.

But in a memo made public last week, the Justice Department and FBI changed tack and said “no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.” Trump has personally tried to convince his supporters to drop their interest in the case, urging them in a Truth Social post Sunday to “not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein.”

Elon Musk, in his political split with Trump, has highlighted the Epstein controversy, suggesting on social media that the president is trying to hide details of his own association with Epstein.

Maxwell’s trial, which took place in November and December of 2021, featured harrowing testimony from four women who all described how Maxwell groomed them as teenagers to feel comfortable around Epstein, who repeatedly raped them.

Maxwell is serving her sentence at a low-security federal prison in Tallahassee.

Maxwell’s appeals have focused on the controversial non-prosecution agreement Epstein signed in 2007 with Alexander Acosta, who at the time served as the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. The agreement, approved in court in 2008, allowed Epstein to serve a light sentence on a single prostitution solicitation charge even though law enforcement investigators believed he had abused dozens of girls.

The agreement says that the United States “will not institute any criminal charges against any potential co-conspirators of Epstein.”

The judge who oversaw Maxwell’s trial previously ruled that the terms were impossibly broad and could not be applied to Maxwell’s case. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals agreed, ruling in September that the non-prosecution may have bound federal prosecutors in Florida, but not in the Southern District of New York, which brought the charges.

David Oscar Markus, a prominent Florida-based criminal defense lawyer representing Maxwell in her Supreme Court appeal, said in an April brief that the language should have protected her from prosecution. He said that different courts across the country have come to different conclusions about the scope of non-prosecution agreements and that the Supreme Court should review the issue.I bet CJ Roberts, who reportedly flew on Epstein’s Lolita Express, will want to cover his dirty ass, will grant Maxwell’s appeal, order billions in restitution to her from the citizenry (cause the Nazi GOP Regime is just about stealing everything from the people to give to billions (in and outside the USA), and whatever else Orange PedoFührer orders.

“Despite the fact that the term ‘United States’ has a widely accepted meaning in perhaps every other context, when this term is used in a plea agreement, it means something different in New Jersey than it does across the river in New York City,” Markus wrote.

Monday’s brief argues that the Justice Department rules did not allow a single US Attorney from one district to bind all other districts without their permission. What do the rules say about kid-raping US Attorneys, illegally protecting other kid rapists like Epstein and Maxwell? It also says Maxwell doesn’t have the standing to enforce a deal made between Epstein and the Justice Department, anyway.I bet Chief Justice “Fly on Epstein’s Lolita” Roberts and his raping catholic church KKK majority will rule otherwise. The catholic church is an ultra powerful ultra rich criminal organization raping kids all over the world, it and the kid raping billionaires like Trump, want rape legalized. Just wait, it’ll happen, and Coward Carney, another catholic, will do same in Canada. The human species is hideously abusive, more so than any other. If there is a god in Evangelical Christianity (the Christians I respect do not abuse and terrify moose calves for fun, FFS), he’s obviously a pedophile.

The Supreme Court has twice extended the deadline for the Justice Department to respond to Maxwell’s appeal at the request of Solicitor General John Sauer, who previously served as Trump’s personal lawyer.

Andrew Rohrbach, who was on the trial prosecution team and successfully handled the Second Circuit Court of Appeals argument to keep Maxwell behind bars, resigned from the Justice Department earlier this year after he refused to drop an indictment against New York City Mayor Eric Adams at the instruction of a Trump-appointed official.

Maurene Comey, another prosecutor who worked on the case, has been busy for several months with the criminal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, which resulted in a jury verdict earlier this month.

The National Association of Criminal Defense LawyersHow many of them are kid rapists? How many of them were served by Epstein and Maxwell? Lot of lawyers and judges rape kids; in Canada, self regulators of lawyers go as far as licence known convicted pedophiles FFS has filed a Supreme Court brief in support of Maxwell, arguing in May that her prosecution was unfair.

“The intentionally broad scope of this NPA may be surprising in retrospect but that does not change the words on the page,” lawyers for the group wrote.Disgusting fuckers. In my read, the most despicable humans are earth are religious authorities, politicians, lawyers, police, and judges

Trump Protects Clergy Confessions, Crucifies the Children Confessing. Trump defends the church’s right to hide child rape, guts the office fighting human trafficking, and buries Epstein ties—abandoning children and survivors at every level of power by Outspoken, Jul 27, 2025, the issue

While Donald Trump’s name resurfaces alongside Jeffrey Epstein’s in headlines, two things are quietly happening that no one is talking about and both should make every decent person absolutely furious.

Forget divine revelation. Trump and his loyalists worship their white nationalist MAGA Jesus while pretending to uphold law and order. This man, adjudicated a rapist and on the Epstein list, leads a movement that protects predators from Matt Gaetz to Brett Kavanaugh, Jeffrey Epstein, and Trump himself.

Trump’s DOJ is currently in federal court defending the rights of churches to conceal child rape, backing clergy who are fighting to keep confessions of abuse buried in the name of religious freedom.

At the same time, they stripped the federal Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, known as the TIP Office, of resources, power, and purpose while claiming to care about exploitation. All while Trump’s top lawyer met privately with Ghislaine Maxwell, not to investigate, not to expose, but to silence, possibly trading an Epstein Files list of names without Trump for a pardon.

I do not care what religion you belong to. If a child tells you they are being abused, and your first instinct is to protect the institution or the person instead of the child, then you are part of the abuse. You are part of the cover up. You are part of the rot. And I do so hope you rot in hell.

By any measure of morality, decency, or basic humanity, this should be the line no one crosses. Protecting children from abuse should not be up for debate. But in Trump’s America, even that is negotiable. Because the latest move out of Washington state tells us everything we need to know about the real agenda of the party that once branded itself as the self-proclaimed party of family values.

I believe one of the secret goals of the Repuglican “christian” billionaires using their orange painted buffoon to con the masses and as demanded by the endless raping religions globally, notably catholic, is to legalize rape and pedophilia and criminalize consent. Numerous rich and religious have been demanding this and likely donate(d) heaps to the sickos on both sides of USA govt. And ordinary non rich American men have been demanding that women are legally made property, slaves, with no rights. I think because too many victims have gathered their courage and spoken out, even though well knowing the “justice” industry protects rapists and abuses victims

The Trump administration stepped directly into this fight by suing the state of Washington and aligning itself with religious leaders who insist their right to secrecy outweighs a child’s right to safety.

Not once did they say their goal was to protect children from predators hiding behind pulpits. They never framed their position as prioritizing child safety because the truth is they are doing the exact opposite. They are defending a system built to shield abusers while pretending to stand for faith and freedom.

To use religion as a cover for sexual abuse is an unforgivable betrayal of everything decent.

Trump’s DOJ uses its own version of divine intervention to help block a law requiring priests to report child abuse confessed behind closed doors. The law was meant to close a massive loophole in mandatory reporting rules. It said that no adult, not even one wearing a collar, should get to stay silent when they are told a child is being raped or beaten or molested. That is what was at stake. That is what they stopped! They want to argue about confessional booths while children are being hurt. They want to quote scripture while predators walk free. They want to invoke the Constitution while burying the evidence. They do not want transparency. They want immunity.

The story here is about choosing the predator over the child. Again. It’s about institutional protection. It’s about political actors using religion to shield abuse and calling it liberty.

Jesus Christ it is pure evil! It is repulsive. It is obscene. It is everything wrong with this country’s addiction to power and cowardice. I am disgusted that we even have to say out loud that children deserve to be protected. I am disgusted that we still have to fight men in suits and collars and robes and robes of office just to get them to care when a child is being raped. I am disgusted that a system built to shelter the vulnerable has become a fortress for predators. I am sick of watching people who scream about morality fold into silence the second it threatens their institutions.

I am sick of watching judges and politicians and religious leaders twist the meaning of freedom so they can excuse complicity.

This is not moral conflict. This is moral collapse. It is a sickness. It is a stain. And every person who defends this ruling or this administration or this culture of silence is not just part of the problem, they are the enemy of every child who has ever begged to be believed and was told to keep quiet.

And if your movement celebrates this ruling while dismantling the one federal office built to fight human trafficking, you are not pro-family. You are not pro-life. You are not moral. You are not holy. You are a fraud. You are complicit. You are shielding abusers. You are the reason children stay silent.

We must become their voice. We must all become outspoken! Call your representatives. Tell them to force clergy members to report child abuse. Demand the full funding and power of the TIP Office be restored. And make damn sure they know we see what they’re doing. And we won’t stop. And if your rep is silent, call again.
