As a cancer survivor, I’m consoled that if things go “sideways,” MAiD is an option
I worry that a BC Conservative govt would follow Alberta’s restrictions on MAiD, & also prohibit physicians and nurse practitioners from making MAID referrals or transfers outside of the province

Puzzling is the following: MAID Is A Choice. Fact: Every human being possesses the Will To Choose.“Forcing”one’s beliefs on another violates their freedom of conscience & personal autonomy.”
e.g.“You were forced to cancel your plans by someone else’s decision.”

By the time my partner decided he wanted MAID, he lacked the ability to finish the tests. He could still clearly say that was what he wanted but that was not enough. He was given end-of-life treatment instead, which is a terrible & inhumane way to die! I will NEVER forgive those I deem responsible.
