(Racist piece of shit) Cory Morgan’s Charter challenge declined by Alberta court, verdict on his trespass charges expected on Nov. 27. 2026

@liarspeaksthetruth.bsky.social:

It’s important to understand that Smith is following. She’s taking marching orders and doing as she’s being told/paid to do.

She is NOT a “leader” in any sense of the word.

@nigelb.bsky.social:

Looks like our Premier is committed to continuing to share the stage with separatists and their fellow travellers post referendum day.Of course, Smith is a separatist!

Event organized by John Carpay and the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.

@troyliss.bsky.social:

Will there be a workshop on how to surveil a court judge?

You prompted me to revisit this: Law Society of Alberta v Cameron and Carpay, 2025 ABLS 24 (CanLII), <https://canlii.ca/t/kf610>

Jusf Today @cbcradiocanada.bsky.social was interviewing Corey Morgan as if it was the most normal thing. The guy was charged for trespass by a first nation for going onto the reserve to make videos with a decidedly racist lens. And he thinks that we should do away with treaties and treaty rights.

Cory Morgan’s Charter challenge declined by Alberta court by Jaden Kobsar, Oct 02 2026, Strathmore Now

The Alberta Court of Justice has declined to hear Cory Morgan’s Charter challenge to Siksika Nation’s trespass bylaw.

Morgan had posted a video online documenting living conditions at Siksika Nation, including housing conditions, access to clean water, crime and poverty. The video included footage from public roads and publicly accessible locations around the community.

The tickets were challenged under Section 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Justice Karen Crowshoe ruled the Alberta Court of Justice does not have jurisdiction to determine the constitutionality of the bylaw, leaving the Charter challenge unresolved.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which is funding Morgan’s legal challenge, said the trial on the two trespass charges has continued despite the court’s decision.

Both sides have now finished presenting their cases.

The prosecution is scheduled to submit written closing arguments on Oct. 16, followed by the defence on Oct. 30.

Justice Crowshoe is scheduled to deliver a verdict on the trespass charges on Nov. 27.
