Hard to believe Elizabeth May is naive enough to believe Canada is on track to meet its 2030 Paris Agreement target with this pro-oil budget.
Voting for it with that rationale gives false confidence to many people. In reality, we’re way off track from the target.

Two months ago the party owed $600k in campaign debt. May said she doesn’t want to lead the party in another election. I think her support is a vote against an election, not a vote for the budget.

Just now in QP, something I’ve never seen: the Liberals gave up one of their QP slots to ask a question to GPC MP Elizabeth May. And PM Carney — who normally only answers questions from leaders of recognized party leaders — answered May. My gut says: May is voting for #bdgt45
