“Science requires evidence. Maybe if industry willingly divulged all chemicals and products they put into the Earth in process of fracking, that would be a good step toward receiving the evidence.”

Harmful to Earth by Bob LaMar, Downtown, OCT 3, 2019, Pittsburgh Post Gazette

I’m writing in response to the Sept. 28 letter “Real Connection” by Jordan McGillis of the Institute for Energy Research in Washington, D.C.

The letter points out that science requires evidence. Maybe if the industry willingly divulged all of the chemicals and products that they put into the Earth in the process of fracking, that would be a good step toward receiving the evidence.

Dick Cheney made sure years ago that this energy industry didn’t have to divulge all their ingredients. And in Pennsylvania today, the state cannot even require the industry to divulge everything because of the “trade secrets” in the cocktails that they pump into the Earth.
