Alberta’s government-appointed royalty review panel lashed out at the government Tuesday, saying in its report the Conservative regime is not accountable, and even acts as though the natural resources belong to developers and not Albertans. “During our review, we discovered an absence of accountability from the government to Albertans, the owners of resources,” panel chairman Bill Hunter told reporters Tuesday. “We encountered significant difficulty in accessing information — to have even simple questions answered.”
