Right now, the calculus that every Canadian consumer has to make, is “does buying this product make me complicit in ICE kidnappings and concentration camps?
Am I helping to fund an eventual Fascist invasion of my own country?”
U.S. products look pretty bad in that light. They look like pure poison.

An American colleague told me about an elbows up experience he had in Canada. He asked the bartender what kind of bourbon she had.
The woman replied, “Honey, as long as that orange asshole is in power, you will never get a drink of bourbon here.”

She deserves a medal of honor & free drinks all day!
Ellbow Up!

Sounds like he came to my bar in Northern Ontario, because I said almost the same thing 2
@charlieangus104.bsky.social:
Fantastic to hear. This was an exchange in Newfoundland. I bet you would hear it in any bar in this country. We are holding the line.
Don’t mess with us. And never mess with Canadian women.

Bourbon / Kentucky Whiskey was my drink for …jebus.. 40 years. Dropped it the minute Trump was elected. Pivot to Rye or Irish.
Miss it and America too… But until they remember who the f### they are and right from wrong…nope they’re dead to me!
@concernedcitizen71.bsky.social:

@tommyboy66.bsky.social:

Canadians need to stand strong against Diaper Donnie. I live in blue NYS. I have stopped purchasing alcohol from MAGA red states.
@jekllnnhide.bsky.social:
we are a proudly immigrant nation. many of us have parents/grandparents who lived through and escaped fascism in Europe
left Canada and families to fight it
we know
we are not polite about that shit
@sorry-iamcanadian.bsky.social:
Boycotting is so easy and so effective. No need to put yourself in peril, take time off work, find someone to watch your kids, etc.
Use your collective buying power to ruin them. It will work. There are 200 million Americans that can stop spending money on anything other than necessities. It works
@charlieangus104.bsky.social Aug 8, 2025:
Canadians are polite until we are we are not. What makes us not polite is fascism. We fought them on the streets of Toronto in 1933. We fought them in Spain. Long before America joined the war we fought them.
When you tell us we don’t have a right to a country or kidnap our people we will fight back
