No such thing as rule of law summed up in two visuals:
2024 07 22 (week of): New Yorker cover: Six of USA’s supreme court judges are Trump
2013 Cartoon by Michael de Adder:
“Stephen Harper’s Idea of the Perfect Judiciary”
In the cartoon, all Canada’s supreme court judges are Harper: Nine old white men, colonial, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, anti gay marriage, anti trans, pro rule by evangelical religion, anti democracy, anti rule of law, anti science, anti environment, pro frac, Canada-hating America Republican worshipping, pro deregulated rape and pillage by the rich.
Harper appointed 7/9 of the supreme court judges that heard my appeal (Ernst vs AER), including “creepy” Russell Brown, moving him quickly up the courts in Alberta just in time to get on the supreme court (only to step down in shame in 2023 because of some drunken hanky panky in the USA).
In January 2017, the supreme court of Canada ruled against my rights and our constitution (which Harper hates, just like his pal Orban hated Hungary’s leading him to rewrite it; fortunately, Canadians saw Harper’s evil and punted him in 2015 but his creepy judge appointing damage was done and will harm many Canadians and our environment for years to come).
Harper’s court also intentionally published lies about me in their ruling to denigrate me and my case. What for? To punish an ordinary citizen (heavens to Betsy, a woman no less) for daring to expose crimes by the powerful?
Anti rule of law, anti-charter, pro frac, pro law violating AER mission accomplished.

Holy shit. Judge Cannon dismissed the classified documents indictment.
Jesus Christ. What does the rule of law even mean in America?
Donald Trump appointed a judge.
That judge dismissed his stolen classified documents case.
There’s no world where this isn’t corruption.
The coup didn’t stop on January 6th. It’s ongoing.
