“We want to make people aware that we feel the minister failed to consider some important issues and procedural matters in granting this permit,” said association co-chair Brian Peters. “It’s a sensitive ecosystem and there’s a tourism industry in the area that is dependent on the environment. This is not a place for oil and gas development.”
