The patriarchy remains a threat to civilized society.

Why? WHY??????
Decades ago in my teens, I too was sent to a neurologist because of fainting spells. I was asked to remove my pants. I said “What for?” The Dr seemed to be displeased w/ my question & said “Never mind, just take off your socks.” He then tapped my knees with that little hammer type instrument & along the bottom of my foot to test my reflexes.

It’s always haunted me & rushed back into my head when this guy first appeared in the news. If often wonder what would have happened to me if I had just done what I was told & taken off my jeans.

I have questions…
48 women testifying against one man, and none of their testimony was credible?
Thanks to religion, everything man does that’s bad, is woman’s fault, everything good is man’s doing; lawyers, judges, and the catholic church take that to the ninth degree. Eve, you know. It’s disgusting.![]()

Gnashing my teeth here. Being from Ontario I have been following this case and am FURIOUS. 48 charges of SA and he gets off?!
@cannibal.holiday:
Jeffrey Sloka, guilty of dozens of sexual assaults, found not guilty by judge.
There’s “found guilty in a court of law” and “that guy is fucking guilty.”
Once you sit in the gallery of a court for a week watching random cases, the former loses all meaning.
@circaliz.bsky.social:
What the fuck?
@traveling4life.bsky.social:
The system is broken.
Not broken, intentionally set up this way, serving the disgustingly misogynistic raping catholic church, other rape religions, and the patriarchy, to ensure men get away with taking advantage of, abusing, terrorizing, raping, and murdering women and girls. Our species is reprehensible.![]()

48 women have waited 4 1/2 years for a verdict in the Jeffrey Sloka sexual assault trial.

All to be told by a judge they lack credibility
I think men like this judge get sexual pleasure re-abusing sexual assault victims. In my view, he has no business being on the bench and needs to be fired.![]()
Sloka cannot return to medicine despite acquittal, The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario revoked Sloka’s medical licence in 2019 after finding he committed acts of professional misconduct. He agreed to never to apply or reapply for registration as a physician in Ontario or any other jurisdiction by Johanna Weidner, April 25, 2026, The Waterloo Record
Jeffrey Sloka will not be able to practice medicine again, regardless of his recent acquittal on 48 charges of sexually assaulting women while examining them as his patients.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), which regulates the profession in the province, revoked Sloka’s medical licence in 2019 after finding he committed acts of professional misconduct. Sloka practised as a neurologist.
On Friday, Justice Craig Parry delivered his verdict in Kitchener court in the judge-alone trial lasting almost five years. Parry said in his ruling that the evidence against Sloka did not meet the criminal standard of guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
He said all of the women who testified against Sloka were unreliable witnesses.
I say that’s impossible and that the judge is misogynistic, or pro sexual assault, and needs off the bench![]()
“The totality of the evidence satisfies me that each patient consented to and participated in medical examinations,” Parry said in his ruling.
A college spokesperson said the college’s oversight is separate from civil or criminal proceedings.
“A court’s verdict does not change Dr. Sloka’s registration status with the college,” said Laura Zilke, communications lead. “While different proceedings may occur concurrently, criminal charges are laid by police and handled by the courts and are separate from CPSO’s regulatory processes.”
Sloka pleaded no contest at a hearing held on April 30, 2019 by the college.
The same day as Sloka’s registration in the college was revoked, he agreed never to apply or reapply for registration as a physician in Ontario or any other jurisdiction.
Neurology focuses on disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Sloka ran a neurology clinic at Grand River Hospital and had privileges at St. Mary’s General Hospital. He was referred to the college’s discipline committee after allegations of professional misconduct. Restrictions were placed on his practice in the fall 2017, requiring a supervisor be present during all patient encounters.
The college hearing reviewed Sloka’s encounters between 2010 and 2018 with four patients, at least one a teenager at the time. Two mentioned their discomfort to other doctors, who reported their concerns to the college, and two patients contacted the college after learning about the allegations against Sloka.
The complaints included being asked to undress completely for an examination or being inadequately draped, touching of their breasts, close skin examinations in the nude, and inserting ungloved fingers into a patient’s vagina and rectum.

“These patients were exploited and deceived by Dr. Sloka for his own sexual purposes. They turned to him seeking help for their medical needs and he preyed on them,” said college prosecutor Morgana Kellythorne.
In her submission to the discipline committee, Kellythorne said: “Dr. Sloka sexually abused multiple patients during medical examinations. Patients are at their most vulnerable in the examination room, where they rely on doctor’s expertise and professionalism when it comes to being physically touched or directed to undress.”
Sloka waived his right to appeal and was ordered to pay $64,240 to a fund that covers therapy for victims.
He was first charged with multiple counts of sexual assault by Waterloo Regional Police in September 2019, and the trial began two years later in September 2021 and took several long breaks. The case began with 69 complainants, falling to 48.
