@MarkKersten:
Scream it from the rooftops.
Poilievre’s official policy is to cut funding to the #UNRWA, while children starve, hospitals are bombed, and Israel punishes civilians by preventing food and medicine from getting in.
That’s beyond the pale.

2025 04 14: EVEN ISRAEL’S SUPREME COURT SAYS IT’S A GENOCIDE MR. CARNEY: Supreme Court of Israel cites the BIBLE to say genocide of Palestinians allowed. “So, you recognize It is a genocide. No more questions your Honor!”

Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East @CJPME:
In the French federal debate, @theJagmeetSingh challenges @MarkJCarney on Gaza: “Why don’t you call things as they are? This is a genocide.” Carney claims that the term “politicizes the situation.” We know that if you can’t name genocide, you definitely won’t stop it.
@TRyanGregory:
Wow. French debate just now. On Gaza, Poilievre atrocious, calling UNRWA terrorist. Singh called him out directly and forcefully. Carney mealy-mouthed. Singh called him out too. Then Carney made it clear where he stands: he will never use the word genocide.
Miranda Gray@mirgray April 16, 2025:
Say the word @MarkJCarney. This is genocide.
@SamHersh01 April 16, 2025:
@theJagmeetSingh directly ask @MarkJCarney if he thinks what is going on in Palestine is a genocide to which he responds with that he doesn’t want to “politicize that word.” What a repulsive and cowardly response that is at odds with leading human rights organizations.
@beisan:
This is revealing and quite frankly gross.
@MarkJCarney says he doesn’t want to “politicize” the genocide of Palestinians.
As though the slaughter of Palestinians exists in some kind of political void.
As though Canada’s dereliction of R2P isn’t a political failure.
Ugh.
Remember this genocide. Remember what individuals, organizations & governments prioritized. Remember how they misrepresented the past & present. Remember the chasm between their beliefs & actions. Remember who they vilified. Remember their cowardice. Remember their complicity.

@2cansan:
What is the moral difference between marching people into a gas chamber and relocating people into a safe zone only to burn them alive in their tents?
@GhostNotes:
Carney is a coward. Every single major human rights organization has correctly described Israel’s actions in Gaza as genocide.
laTeToeverything @Traipsingg:
Who told him this would work?@marcomendicino?In my view, Marco is one of the most disgusting politicos out there after the Harper Reformacons and Poilievre’s Reforma-nazi-puglicons, it horrifies me that Carney chose him, or did Bibi order it?
Disgusting. Trust me Palestinians whose children are being burned to death right now want to you tp call it what it is and stop it.
@MichaelKhalsa01:
Liberals okayed a new $79 million arms deal to assist in Israel’s holocaust.
@MarkJCarney is participant in the Gaza holocaust. Children & women were literally burnt alive in tents in Gaza last night.
@amirattaran.bsky.social:
My take: Poilievre lost the French debate.
He scolded Quebecers, who hate pipelines and prefer electricity, about building … pipelines!
That will cost him votes in Quebec, and barely gain him any in Anglophone Alberta, where he’s leading anyway.
Terrible strategy.
Who won? Blanchet. He will have stopped the bleeding to Poilievre, and his answers on immigration, albeit at times racist, will go down well in Quebec.
Singh looked bad, except for the moment he schooled Carney on Israeli genocide, and Carney gave a lousy answer.
Singh kept talking over the moderator and got his mic cut off. Deserved.
And now the idiot is whining about it, while admitting he spoke off-topic and attracted the moderator’s ire.
Carney is put on the spot to say Gaza is a genocide. He refuses because it’s “political.” Lacking the honesty to say it’s legal.
Singh just slapped that asshole Poilievre for saying that Gaza should not have any aid during a genocide.
Blanchet is committing a homicide on stage. He’s simply the best debater of all the federal leaders. And the he reminds us he’s a racist by talking of “French stock”.
Poilievre [pile of shit] just refused to answer whether he would cancel the constitution’s Indigenous rights to build a pipeline.
Jagmeet Singh just said he’d force car companies to build in Canada! That sounds just as deluded as Trump. What a fool.
