Hudson Valley faith leaders call for statewide ban on fracking

Hudson Valley faith leaders call for statewide ban on fracking by Mid Hudson News, November 15, 2012
Fracking is a “crime,” according to Tom Caplan, a member of the Zen Mountain Monastery in Mount Tremper, who expressed his own feeling about the process. “To think hundreds of faith based leaders would show up and sign on, and you can go to New Yorkers Against Fracking to see all of the faith based leaders who have signed up, to show this is our community, this is where we live”, Caplan said.  “This is not some outside agitators. This is us and we don’t want fracking.”
