According to a release, the company funded a total of 154 initiatives that “generate positive change in the environment, education and community life.” Some of the initiatives also have the potential to benefit Encana, among them a donation to the University of Wyoming to help convert fleet vehicles to operate on natural gas. … “Some we choose to invest in environmentally sound things that also support the natural-gas industry,” Teeuwen said.
