My 5-yr old: “Why are there things in the world?”
Me: “Why does anything exist? No one really knows. Some people think God made it.”
(We don’t do religion at home, but don’t shy away from it, either.)
5-yo: “I was going to say that! But Dada… maybe people made God.”
