How Bonnie Critchley knows her campaign is going well….
Perhaps this is why Pierre finally decided to show up to a candidates forum.

The cheers last night at the town hall for PP were NOT from the riding!! Apparently he stacked the event to give the illusion he has support.
@mikemontreal.bsky.social:
Exactly. He knew a national audience would be watching. Critchley at one point stood up and asked how many people in attendance were actually able to vote in the election.
@mikemontreal.bsky.social:
Her whole campaign has been based on outsiders coming in to use them and discard them.

Critchley vs. Cringey

@ylbjo.bsky.social:
Former Albertan, watching from BC. #GoBonnieGo!
@lesjfrie.bsky.social:
Poilievre spent last week in Metro Vancouver campaigning for single use plastics. That’s 1,249.4 km away from Battle River-Crowfoot where he’s supposed to be campaigning for a seat so that he can be an MP again.
Here he is tweeting from Richmond, BC on July 10.
@lesjfrie.bsky.social
IMO, Bonnie is the politician we deserve in every riding. My hope is BR-C elects her but whatever the outcome, she’d be great in provincial politics, too. A breath of fresh air for Alberta.
@motherearthrooted.bsky.social:
For sure PP will unleash his thugs on you. He has every election he has been in.
Be prepared for your signs being vandalized, your office being picketed and hired stalkers at any public engagement you are at where you are speaking.
Your volunteers need to be prepared for how nasty PP will play..
@arkangl67.bsky.social:
Just record them and share it.
Have your phones out at all times
@canadianchick.bsky.social:
I hope you’re as successful as Fanjoy was. Knock on all the doors.
You and I likely do not share much politically, but in this election, I’d be voting for you.
@iceblueaccent.bsky.social:
Me too.
@tomwhittaker.bsky.social:
Good luck, PP will not be easy to beat, but take a lesson from Bruce Fanjoy, knock on every door.
Your people know he cares little for BR-C and he will forget about them if he wins.
So many topic s to kick his ass.
Is he going to live in BR-C?
Selling the CWP.
What are the local concerns?
Have fun!
@nanaunicorn.bsky.social:
Canada deserves good government…this includes a good Opposition. That does not exist with. PP kick PP to the back 40…and find better. Vote Bonnie, BR-Cft deserves honest representation in Ottawa
@jb-canadian.bsky.social:
I drive through the riding in Ontario that fired him to get to work and one intersection was different signs everyday. Sometimes pushed over and sometimes missing and once spray painted. I want fair elections and that goes both ways. Go Bonnie go!!
@emmogene.bsky.social:
In Poilievre’s former riding, someone or some group removed and destroyed scores of his opponent’s signs. I never heard him call out that behaviour.

@andyrogers.bsky.social:
Same in my riding.
My Liberal candidate literally had dozens of his signs defaced by “conservative supporters.” Hitler moustaches and stuff like that.
Also many signs simply stolen.
Despicable.

@emmogene.bsky.social:
I don’t know much about Bonnie Critchley, but I really respect that she called out such behaviour. It shows a kind of character that Poilievre has never demonstrated.
@andyrogers.bsky.social:
Absolutely. I’ve checked her out. Seems like a straight shooter and actually lives in the riding, unlike the carpetbagger, Poilievre.
The locals must despise him.
Unfortunately they’ll probably vote for him anyway, although I understand there’s a lot of anger abt the situation.
NeverPoilievre
@emmogene.bsky.social:
However, if he doesn’t win by a similar margin as Kurek, it may affect his leadership review.
@andyrogers.bsky.social:
It would be delicious for him to lose the leadership review after all this.
I’m sure Jason Kenney is waiting in the wings, salivating.
NeverPoilievre
NeverConservative
@emmogene.bsky.social:
Ugh, you’re right.
@vickiemolloy.bsky.social:
PP has promoted division in our country & has voted against anything that would be beneficial to the average person. Seems he is just mean, wants the power & prestige of the position, but has no policy solutions & no negotiating/leadership skills to use to benefit anyone. Vote for the local (again).
@briatz.bsky.social:
PP seems to have been installed simply to block any sort of forward movement to keep things stagnant like the conservatives love.
@c3to.bsky.social:
The “conservative” party has changed. We need to rid Canada of the Harper and Pp conservatives.
tragically, Carney is one of them; Canada needs Critchley to beat PeePee and give fierce and real opposition to Carney![]()
@ba55fr33k.bsky.social:
Harper is current Chairman of a not at all Secret international organization of conservative politicians who work together to get more conservative political parties in power
its why their arguments & policies are so aligned
Look up the Members.. its all nasty people you see in the news
@c3to.bsky.social:
Villains. All of them.
@queenofdoghair.bsky.social:
The people were pretty clear when they voted him out. He got fired and thinks he can come back like nothing was wrong? I hope Alberta stomps him.
@canadiandragoness.bsky.social:
And still no security clearance!
@herne.bsky.social:
Shame on anyone who votes for him. He is compromised. He STILL does not have a security clearance.
And he’ll never show up in your community or even care about you as constituents if you give him a seat.
@lesjfrie.bsky.social:
He’s only getting the do-over because he’s the leader of his party, which is the official opposition. The punchline is we’ll spend this money and the party will turf him before the next election and he will retire.
If an MP candidate does not win, he should not get a do over no matter who he is.
