Alian Kdeeh, 95 years old, on a wheelchair was killed today by Israeli forces near Beni Suheila in Khan Younis.
He was older than the state of Israel itself. He lived through British colonial rule, survived decades of oppression, and just a month ago saw his hometown reduced to rubble. Today, his life was ended by the Israeli military.

I still remember, on my way to primary school, I used to see him standing with his friends on the street, talking passionately about the village he was forced to leave in 1948.

Fish from the sea are one of the last food sources that aren’t controlled by the murderous GHF and fishing is a key part of Palestinian culture.
