The report says the company has established a program to assess additives used in hydraulic fracturing operations for potential effects on human health and the environment. … This report comes even as the Pavillion fracking debate continues to rage. Encana has been supplying water to Pavillion residents with groundwater they claim was sullied by fracking for some time. Simultaneously the company has denied it caused the well contamination that made the water undrinkable. Recently, Wyoming lawmakers set aside $750,000 to install cisterns for 35 affected homes.
